Job summary

Norlee Group (NLG) is seeking a Lead Low Voltage Technician to lead installation, termination, testing, and maintenance of low-voltage systems in commercial facilities. This role covers structured cabling, BAS, access control, security, and communications infrastructure to meet project specs and safety standards.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, routing cables, performing tests, and coordinating with project managers and electricians.

Qualifications

• Three years of combined experience in commercial low-voltage installation, structured cabling, BAS, access control, or related fields.
• Experience reading blueprints, floor plans, wiring diagrams, and technical documents.
• Familiarity with low-voltage codes, safety standards, and field installation practices.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, label, test, and troubleshoot low-voltage cabling and systems in commercial buildings.
• Coordinate with project managers, electricians, and other trades to maintain schedules.
• Read and interpret drawings and installation documentation to execute work to spec.
