Job summary

Core Scientific seeks a highly skilled Low Voltage Designer to lead strategy, design, and deployment of telecommunications and low-voltage infrastructure across our data center portfolio.

The role requires extensive experience in structured cabling, fiber, OSP, security, BAS/EPMS, DAS, and related systems, with strong leadership and project-management capabilities. Located in multiple U.S. hubs, travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of telecommunications infrastructure design and implementation experience, including 3+ years in leadership roles.
• Experience supporting hyperscale data centers or large campus infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling, fiber optics, OSP design, security, BAS/EPMS, and DAS.
• Certifications such as RCDD, CNIDP, CDCDP, or PSP are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish design standards, specs, templates, and best practices for low-voltage systems.
• Lead design of structured cabling, fiber, OSP, MMR/MDF/IDF, security, BAS/EPMS, DAS, and related systems.
• Review construction documents for compliance with standards and project requirements.
• Oversee full project lifecycle from planning to turnover and commissioning.
• Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure successful delivery.
