Job summary

Computacenter is seeking a Project Engineer (Low Voltage / Data Center) to act as the technical lead across design, implementation and closeout, guiding engineering decisions and customer engagement.

You will own LOE designs, review BOMs, mentor project teams, manage escalations, and collaborate with sales to scope new opportunities while ensuring quality and alignment with client requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in low voltage or ICT infrastructure engineering.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Proven ability to lead or mentor technical project teams.
• Strong understanding of structured cabling systems and network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values.
• Serve as the primary technical authority within the assigned project; mentor Project Engineers and others; handle escalations (3rd level).
• Lead LOE program designs, review BOMs, and participate in sales engagements to translate needs into designs.
• Oversee project progress from a technical perspective across design, implementation, and closeout; initiate Field Change Orders as needed.
• Review and submit final engineering deliverables to PMO; approve vendor invoices; lead After Action Reviews.
• Collaborate with sales and solution teams to scope and quote new opportunities; ensure solutions are technically sound and aligned with client requirements.
