Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services in Honolulu, HI is seeking a Loss Mitigation Underwriter Team Lead to manage escalated cases, provide oversight to junior staff, and support the Supervisor in their absence. The target pay is $30.00-$33.00 per hour, and you will ensure all activities comply with company policies and applicable laws.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of underwriting experience in loss mitigation.
• Strong supervisory and training abilities.

Responsibilities

• Respond to escalated issues from both internal and external sources.
• Assist with pipeline assignments.
• Analyze, distribute and/or prepare reports, track account workflows and provide results to management.
• Monitor performance and provide additional training to junior level staff as needed.
• Assist with training new hires.
• Perform supervisory responsibilities as needed for relief assignments in the absence of Supervisor.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert for department with the knowledge and ability to make decisions and/or provide direction on challenging files.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
