Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Loss Mitigation Underwriter Team Lead to manage escalated cases, train junior staff, and provide oversight in the absence of a Supervisor. You will ensure adherence to company policies and applicable laws, while guiding the team to timely resolutions.

The role requires strong underwriting experience in loss mitigation, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to act as a subject matter expert.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of underwriting experience in loss mitigation.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven ability to train and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Respond to escalated issues from internal and external sources.
• Assist with pipeline assignments.
• Analyze, distribute and prepare reports on account workflows.
• Monitor performance and provide additional training to junior staff.
• Assist with training new hires.
• Perform supervisory responsibilities during relief assignments.
• Act as subject matter expert for decision guidance on challenging files.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
