Job summary

Curtiss-Wright in Danbury, CT is seeking a Logistics Technician, Lead to perform advanced mechanical, structural, and logistics operations. The role includes interpreting engineering drawings, running multi-step manufacturing tasks, and ensuring traceability and quality.

You will coordinate shipments with carriers, support new product introduction, and participate in production readiness and transitions from development to production.

• Perform advanced assembly and testing per process docs.
• Inspect and verify with precision measurement tools.
• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced mechanical, structural, or other manufacturing and assembly operations.
• Executes complex, multi-step manufacturing and integration tasks per drawings and specs.
• Interprets engineering drawings, schematics, and manufacturing plans.
• Conducts detailed inspections, measurements, tests, and traceability documentation.
• Sets up, operates, and troubleshoots specialized equipment; performs rework and adjustments.
• Diagnoses and resolves manufacturing and tooling issues; recommends process changes.
• Supports new product introduction, readiness, and production transition.
• Collects and records production data and quality information.
