Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Lead Logistics Specialist to oversee the Palmer station logistics team, manage daily tasking and data accuracy, and ensure safe cargo handling and inventory control. You will coordinate with partners, supervise staff, and drive process improvements.

You will leverage ERP systems, including Maximo, and mentor associates in warehouse, shipping and material handling tasks to maintain high performance and compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; two additional years of experience may substitute for the degree.
• Minimum three+ years in inventory, warehousing, cargo, transportation or related logistics.
• Experience with ERP systems and safety/compliance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily logistics workflow, coaching staff and ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Manages data entry, inventory control, and shipping documentation in ERP systems.
• Leads port call operations, cargo tracking and coordination with stakeholders.
