Uber Freight seeks a senior analytics/optimization leader to coordinate cross-functional SME assignments and deliver data-driven transport network insights. The role requires advanced modeling, SQL, Tableau, and Coupa SCG expertise to shape client solutions.

Applicants should have substantial experience in transportation strategy, executive-level presentations, and project leadership, with hybrid work options from Frisco, TX. Domestic travel is expected.

Qualifications

• 5 years solving real-time problems in transportation strategy through scenario analysis.
• 5 years presenting data and findings to executive management with actionable recommendations.
• 5 years building and managing large SQL databases for relational data.
• 5 years building BI using Tableau for reporting and visualizations.
• 5 years building complex supply chain optimization models using Coupa SCG.
• 5 years in the Supply Chain Management and Transportation industries.
• 5 years leading large-scale optimization projects.
• 5 years managing timelines, tasks, and internal resources.
• 5 years facilitating effective customer communication and ensuring deliverables.
• 3 years combined experience with Google Cloud tools: Composer, Data Fusion, BigQuery.
• 3 years experience in Python, C++, VBA, Gurobi, Simio.
• 3 years automating data analytics with Alteryx.
• 3 years using Generative AI and Agentic AI for content generation with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate SME assignments with cross-functional teams and manage milestones.
• Ensure deliverables meet customer expectations in timeliness and quality.
• Apply customer requirements to the Uber Freight optimization model.
• Use modeling to evaluate and optimize the customer's transportation network.
• Leverage Uber Freight data for research and development purposes.
• Model client supply chains with commercial software for scenario analyses.
• Manage logistics engineers and contractors to meet schedules.
• Present findings to executive management and guide future strategy.
