Job summary

IES is seeking a Lead Logistics Specialist to organize the distribution of goods and supplies, ensuring timely, cost-efficient delivery to the right locations. The role demands coordinating material deliveries, forecasting needs, and maintaining performance metrics to improve processes.

Responsibilities include planning, ordering, tracking stock, and resolving issues while meeting targets for cost, productivity, and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a High School diploma or GED.
• Must have customer interface experience (liaison between customer and company).
• Minimum of three (3) years of logistics experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and MS Project).
• Must meet company driving standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate material deliveries to job sites.
• Facilitate material orders to align with project schedules.
• Forecast needs for projects.
• Track quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times and transport costs.
• Resolve arising problems or complaints.
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets.
• Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
• Handle other responsibilities as assigned.
