Job summary

Jamul Indian Village Development Corpora is seeking a senior AV technician to install, operate, and maintain audio-visual systems for casino, hotel, and event spaces. You will supervise crews, coordinate with vendors, and ensure high-quality guest experiences across live performances and promotions.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of AV networking, audio signal flow, and show control, with hands-on capability in setup, testing, and troubleshooting under deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience as an A1 or lead mixing engineer in live event production or related entertainment environments.
• IT proficiency with networking basics: layer 2/3 switching, VLANs, IP subnetting, QoS.
• Network certifications such as Dante, CCNA or AVIXA CTT are preferred.
• Experience with signal flow, audio consoles, DSP systems, and show control environments.

Responsibilities

• Installs and operates AV equipment for casino/hotel floors, events and group sales.
• Coordinates operation with scripts, riders, and stage plots for performances.
• Maintains and troubleshoots AV systems, logs repairs and notifies management of major issues.
• Programs and supports diverse AV components: video displays, projectors, speakers, mics, lighting, digital signage.
• Oversees audio delivery, monitors sound levels, and collaborates with vendors and facilities.
• Leads setup/teardown, directs AV staff, and ensures timely project completion.
• Performs video and audio editing for collateral and signage; may serve as videographer/photographer.
