Permanent Placements LLC is seeking a California Assistant Managing Attorney to lead litigation support operations in the Bay Area. The role emphasizes supervising staff, managing docketing, and guiding attorneys on court procedures for federal and California matters.

Ideal candidates will have a J.D., active California Bar membership, and 3–5+ years in a managing attorney or senior litigation operations role within a major firm or legal department.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active California Bar membership.
• Minimum years in litigation or managing attorney operations as specified.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day litigation support for the Bay Area Managing Attorney’s Office.
• Supervise staff and coordinate workflow across litigation support functions.
• Manage court docketing and calendaring for federal and state matters.
• Monitor deadlines, hearings, filings, and court schedules.
• Coordinate filing and service of litigation documents in courts.
• Provide guidance on federal and California court procedures and filing requirements.
• Liaise between attorneys and court personnel; assist with admissions to courts.
• Support case management across complex litigation and antitrust matters.
