Job summary

Themis Insight, LLC seeks a Principal Systems Administrator (Linux, VMware) to support IT systems in the Fort Meade vicinity. Role emphasizes Linux/VMware administration, security compliance, and multi-system support across UNIX, Linux, and Windows environments.

The role requires TS/SCI with polygraph and extensive SA experience, including ITSM expertise and ITIL 4 certification. The candidate will engage with ISSO/ISO and contribute to security authorizations and SOA-based operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; 4 years SA experience may substitute for a degree.
• Fifteen (15) years experience as a SA in programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Six (6) years of experience with Service Management (ITSM).
• ITIL 4 platform certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
• Configure UNIX, Linux and Windows operating systems and load operating system software; troubleshoot and maintain network components.
• Implement IAVA security patches and ensure patch status is recorded.
• Coordinate changes with ISSO/ISO as part of Change and Configuration Management process.
• Support planning, capacity analysis and optimization of system operations.
