Job summary

Wind River is seeking a level‑experienced Linux Test Automation Technical Leader for the eLxr distribution to spearhead automated testing across safety‑critical embedded domains in telecom, aerospace, industrial, and automotive markets.

You will lead test strategy, frameworks, and environments, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product management and system architects to ensure scalable, high‑quality verification.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech or ME/MTech in CS, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in software development, verification, and validation.
• Strong programming skills in C, Python, and Go; familiarity with Debian fundamentals.
• Experience developing automation frameworks or Test Manager solutions.
• Experience working with emulators and virtualized test environments.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and related tooling.
• Ability to create test cases from high‑ and low‑level requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and certification of test environments for safety critical products.
• Develop automated test strategies and test cases for eLxr to support Wind River growth.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior team members.
• Collaborate with product management and system architects to deliver scalable solutions.
