Job summary

Iceberg, a world-leading quantitative hedge fund in New York, seeks a deeply technical leader to shape the security of its Linux platform as AI workloads grow. This is a leadership yet highly technical role: own difficult security problems end-to-end, decide what to build or buy, and turn that into practical engineering capabilities for production systems. The role involves Linux kernel/workload security, isolation, authentication, and security tooling, with 3 days in office and 2 remote in NYC.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in Linux security and hardening at scale.
• Experience with kernel and systems security, isolation, and containers.
• Ability to design and implement security controls end-to-end.
• Leadership while still getting into technical details and difficult problems.

Responsibilities

• Lead technically while guiding engineers on how security capabilities should be built.
• Own hard security problems end-to-end in a high-stakes, production environment.
• Collaborate with AI/infrastructure teams to secure workloads and platforms.
