Job summary

Referment is seeking an Engineering Manager to own Linux platform security across a high-performance production environment. You will lead a highly technical team, set the security roadmap, and turn ambitious ideas into production-ready controls.

You will stay hands-on, design and deploy security improvements across a large Linux estate, and collaborate with infrastructure teams to strengthen authentication and workload identity.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience securing complex Linux environments and delivering security engineering in production.
• Strong knowledge of Linux security modules and authentication technologies.
• Proven ability to lead engineers and manage security programs through ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Linux security engineering team and set the technical roadmap.
• Design, build and deploy security improvements across a large Linux estate.
• Remain hands-on in prototyping and problem-solving while guiding delivery.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to strengthen authentication and privileged workflows.
• Balance security, usability, resilience and business impact in decisions.
