Job summary

Intelligence Security Laboratories is a fast-growing non-profit operating at the intersection of AI and security. We’re seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, secure, and maintain the IT and network infrastructure our organization runs on—from custom LAN and VPN configurations to containerized services and hardened workstations.

You’ll make foundational architecture decisions early and own them as we scale.

Qualifications

At least 8 years of Linux systems administration experience.
At least 2 years leading an infrastructure team.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Deep understanding of computer networking concepts.
Hands-on experience with containerization/virtualization platforms.
Understanding of the Linux operating system and administration.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate a team to deliver and maintain the organization’s core infrastructure.
Hire, mentor, and develop infrastructure engineers as the team grows.
Plan, design, and deploy complex networks including LANs and VPNs.
Deploy and monitor containerized services for employees and associates.
Build custom OS images and workstation configurations with strong security and efficient workflows.
Ensure high availability via backups and recovery procedures.
Generate and maintain robust, accurate documentation of all systems and configurations.
Ensure connectivity and availability support for all users.
Collaborate with developers and other teams to support a secure, efficient workflow.
Collaborate with external stakeholders to provide services to partners.
