White Lodging is hiring a Lead Line Cook to join our culinary team in a fast-paced hotel kitchen. This leadership role is designed for an experienced line cook ready to take the next step toward becoming a Sous Chef.

You will step into a Sous Chef in training capacity, lead daily BOH operations, mentor junior staff, and ensure production runs smoothly while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced hotel/restaurant kitchen environments.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily back-of-house operations and assist in kitchen management.
• Mentor junior cooks and apprentices, overseeing food preparation and production.
• Ensure compliance with health department regulations and safety guidelines.
• Monitor food and labor costs to meet financial targets.
• Maintain recipe standards, portion control, and quality consistency.
