Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a Cook to prepare and deliver meals in a timely manner at our Henderson, NV location. You will follow memorized standard recipes, monitor quality, and maintain station inventory.

The position requires standing for shifts, lifting up to 75 pounds, and compliance with safety and sanitation standards. Training opportunities may be available for Specialty Line Cooks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a cook.
• Must be able to stand/walk for the duration of shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

• Receive and prepare food orders for a specific cuisine.
• Coordinate orders for pick-up.
• Maintain cleanliness of work station and storage areas.
• Control waste by proper rotation, storage, and quantity control.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a cook.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for duration of shift.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 75 pounds.
• Other physical requirements of the position include but are not necessarily limited to reaching, grasping, bending, kneeling, and twisting at the waist.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
