Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation in East Peoria, Illinois is seeking a Cook to prepare orders according to memorized standard recipes and monitor food production to meet quality standards.

You will receive and prepare orders, coordinate pick-up, maintain station cleanliness and stock, control waste, and ensure safety and sanitation procedures are followed throughout each shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of cook experience.
• Able to stand/walk for entire shift.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Able to obtain/maintain necessary licenses/certifications.

Job Description

Cook orders in a timely manner according to memorized standard recipes. Monitor food production to ensure that quality standards are met. Maintain inventory of station and order stock.

Qualifications

• Other physical requirements of the position include but are not necessarily limited to reaching, grasping, bending, kneeling, and twisting at the waist.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
