Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a qualified cook at IP Casino Resort Spa in Biloxi, MS. The role requires timely preparation of orders according to standard recipes, quality monitoring of food production, and effective coordination for pick-up.

The position emphasizes maintaining cleanliness, waste control, inventory, and adherence to safety standards. Training and coaching of junior cooks are also part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience as a cook.
• Must be able to stand and walk for duration of shift.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 75 pounds.
• Other physical requirements include reaching, grasping, bending, kneeling, and twisting at the waist.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

• Cook orders in a timely manner according to memorized standard recipes.

• Consistently apply established safety and sanitation procedures.
• Assist in the training and coaching of Line Cooks.
