Line cooks are essential to delivering a high-quality, consistent guest dining experience. Working under the guidance of the Executive Chef and Sous Chef, Line Cooks execute food preparation and presentation methods to create Instagram-worthy dishes. The primary responsibilities include practicing safe food-handling methods, preparing food accurately and consistently, accommodating guest modifications, and working efficiently to meet service times.

What you’ll be doing…
  • Prepare high-quality food by following recipes and instructions, maintaining portion and production standards.
  • Follow all food safety standards, including date marking, proper product rotation, and correct temperature and time holding.
  • Initiate food preparation based on anticipated needs.
  • Store all food products properly during and after use.
  • Assist in controlling food waste.
  • Operate food preparation equipment such as fryers, broilers, stoves, steamers, food processors, mixers, slicers, ovens, steam tables, tilt kettles, waffle irons, flat-top grills, etc.
  • Clean and maintain all equipment and the work environment.
  • Contribute as a team member by reporting to work as scheduled, learning and refining processes, and supporting colleagues.
  • Maintain professionalism consistent with hotel brand and company standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Experience & Education:
  • At least 1 year of culinary experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
Communication:
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in the primary language used in the workplace.
Physical Requirements:
  • Stand and walk for 8+ hours daily.
  • Reach, bend, stoop, and pivot frequently.
  • Lift, lower, push, pull, and maneuver up to 50 pounds occasionally.
