Watermere At Southlake is seeking a Lead Cook to guide culinary operations and contribute to a high-quality dining experience. You will execute cooking tasks, supervise the kitchen team, and coordinate with the Sous Chef to maintain top-tier kitchen performance.

In this role you will ensure freshness, taste, and presentation, oversee inventory, train staff on techniques and safety, and help develop menu ideas and daily specials while leading by example in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Culinary degree or certification is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Cook or Line Cook.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a kitchen.
  • Food safety and TABC certification.

Responsibilities

  • Execute cooking tasks in accordance with recipes and quality standards.
  • Supervise kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow.

Educational Requirements and Experience:
