The City of Lewisville is seeking a Lead Lifeguard to supervise aquatic operations, maintain safety, and mentor lifeguard staff. The role collaborates with the Aquatic Coordinator and Senior Lifeguard to advance division goals.

Requirements include a minimum of 1 year lifeguard experience, a high school diploma or GED, and current ARC certifications (Waterpark, Lifeguard, CPR/AED, First Aid). A criminal background check and pre-employment drug test are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year lifeguard experience required.
• Substitutions allowed with related education/experience/certifications.
• Must obtain ARC Waterpark, Lifeguard, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, and First Aid certifications.
• Background check and pre-employment drug test required.
• Must be 18 years or older and complete in-water skills test.

Responsabilités

• Enforce safety measures and pool rules for guest safety.
• Assist in maintaining aquatic areas and test/record pool chemicals.
• Provide in-service training and guide lifeguards on techniques and audits.
• Supervise aquatic team and direct daily activities and goals.
• Serve as aquatic lead when supervisors are off duty.
• Cover various lifeguard shifts as needed.
