Job summary

The Salvation Army Kroc Center in Wisconsin is seeking a Lead Lifeguard to oversee daily aquatics operations, supervise staff, coordinate swim lessons and events, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for members and guests.

You will train and mentor lifeguards, maintain equipment and records, monitor compliance with state staffing plans, and respond to emergencies with CPR/AED/First Aid. This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Two years' lifeguarding and swim lesson instruction experience.
• Experience supervising staff preferred.
• Current ARC Lifeguard, CPR/AED, First Aid certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Enforce Kroc rules to maintain a safe environment for members and staff.
• Assist with day-to-day aquatics operations, events, and lessons.
• Oversee staff training and instruction of swim lessons.
• Monitor for hazards and respond to emergencies with CPR/AED/First Aid.
• Maintain records, equipment, and facility cleanliness.
• Support recruitment and ongoing staff development.
