Summary of Position

To maintain and oversee the Lifeguard, Safety & guest Activity programs. Attend & implement special functions for holidays, special events, and group clients.

Essential Functions

1. Scheduling and leading lifeguard in-service per Starguard requirements.
2. Train and certify all lifeguards per Starguard standards.
3. Maintain lifeguard in-service logs.
4. Ensure that lifeguards follow Arizona Grand Resort and Oasis procedures and policies.
5. Ensure that lifeguard licenses are current.
6. Implement and oversee daily lifeguard & safety programs.
7. Conduct safety audits and maintain safety standards as set by Starguard.
8. Supervise guards on the floor to ensure standards are met.
9. Report challenges to Oasis Manager(s) for corrective actions.
10. Maintain logs and records of certifications and staff requirements.
11. Assist Oasis Manager(s) with tasks and activities.

Supportive Functions

Perform additional duties such as lifeguard and Pool Attendant responsibilities, with flexibility for schedule, including early and late hours, and cross-training in other resort areas.
