Houston Fire & Security is seeking a full-time Fire Alarm Technician to install, service, and repair fire alarm systems across Humble, TX. You will diagnose low-voltage life-safety issues, program fire alarm panels, and perform comprehensive life safety inspections on-site.

Strong customer service and independence are essential. Requirements include valid FAL and FEL-B licenses, experience with fire alarm systems, and the ability to work on-site in Humble, TX.

• Valid FAL and FEL-B licenses required.
• Experience with fire alarm systems and applicable safety regulations.
• Strong diagnostic skills in low-voltage and electrical troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with access control systems is a plus.

About Houston Fire & SecurityWe design, install, repair, inspect, and maintain commercial fire protection systems across mid-rise and high-rise properties—keeping clients compliant with evolving codes and regulations. Our teams deliver end-to-end solutions spanning fire alarm systems and monitoring, portable fire extinguishers, kitchen hood systems, fire sprinklers, fire pumps and controllers, and water storage tanks with backflow preventers.A Day in the RoleIt’s 7:30 AM in Humble, TX. You review your schedule, load test equipment, and head to a client site. The morning is spent diagnosing a low-voltage loop issue and programming a fire alarm control panel to resolve intermittent faults. After lunch, you perform life safety inspections—verifying initiating devices, notification appliances, and supervising station communication—then round out the day by inspecting portable fire extinguishers, documenting results, and walking the customer through code-driven recommendations.
