Job summary

Houston Fire & Security is a full-service fire protection partner for commercial properties. You will perform field service on fire alarm systems, including programming and commissioning control panels, and conducting life safety inspections.

Qualifications

• Licensing: FAL and FEL-B required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; NICET or similar certifications preferred.
• Experience with low-voltage electrical troubleshooting and wiring.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service on fire alarm systems from installation to maintenance and repair.
• Program and commission fire alarm control panels.
• Conduct life safety inspections and portable extinguisher inspections.
• Communicate with customers to ensure safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Support related systems: fire monitoring, extinguishers, and kitchen hood systems.
