Job summary

You will coach technicians and assistants, assist with hiring and onboarding, monitor anesthesia, perform dental prophylaxis and diagnostics, manage medical records, and help optimize hospital operations while upholding safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Licensed veterinary technician credential required.
• 3+ years clinical veterinary experience.
• Leadership or mentoring experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching and training to technicians and assistants.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and mentoring new team members.
• Schedule staff based on case load and skills in partnership with leadership.
• Serve as a clinical resource for best practices in patient care and anesthesia monitoring.
• Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, and surgeries with proper restraint and monitoring.
• Maintain accurate medical records and client education documentation.
• Monitor inventory and assist with hospital policies and procedures.
• Promote a positive, collaborative culture aligned with hospital values.
