Qualifications

• One year as a Licensed Psychologist MH or Psychologist (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title).
• One year of experience as a licensed professional psychologist in the treatment of inmates, or individuals with mental illness, intellectual disabilities, or behavioral dysfunction.

Responsibilities

• Staff Supervision: Lead and support psychological staff evaluating inmates, conducting testing, and providing treatment services.
• Program Management: Develop and improve psychological services programs and guide policy updates and counseling initiatives.
• Committee Leadership: Direct mental health related committees and teams to address screenings, reviews, and critical incidents.
• Clinical Standards: Set competency requirements, review psychological testing, and oversee diagnostic and progress reporting.
• Consultation Support: Offer guidance to facility staff regarding mental health concerns and participate in treatment planning discussions.
• Accreditation Compliance: Ensure professional standards are met and provide expert testimony when required.
