ATA Services Inc. seeks a Legal Review Supervisor in Santa Fe, NM for a temporary assignment.

The role oversees the Caregivers Criminal History Screening Program, supervising up to 10 staff and ensuring background checks, legal reviews, and fitness determinations are completed accurately and on schedule. Responsibilities include training staff, monitoring workflows, maintaining case records, reporting weekly caseloads, and coordinating staffing with leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, sociology, psychology, or a closely related field.
• Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience supervising staff and managing case-processing workflows, ensuring compliance.

Responsabilités

• Supervise, train, and evaluate legal review staff; assign workloads and monitor productivity, quality, and deadlines.
• Oversee background checks, initial determinations, disqualifications, watch-list files, and daily rap-back processing.
• Ensure initial determinations are completed within 48 hours once all required information is available.
• Maintain accurate case records, tracking systems, and documentation to support compliance and reporting.
• Monitor caseloads, identify backlogs and processing delays, and implement workflow improvements.
• Coordinate timely disqualification notifications and ensure appropriate documentation and procedures are followed.
• Participate in hiring activities and communicate staffing, performance, and operational concerns to the bureau chief.
• Prepare weekly reports on caseloads, completed and pending cases, backlogs, compliance, and program performance.
