Job summary

Column is seeking a senior Legal Operations leader to redefine our legal function for a rapidly growing fintech bank‑tech company. You will own the operating model, drive AI-enabled workflows, and build scalable processes across contract lifecycle, knowledge management, and outside counsel management.

You will partner with General Counsel and cross‑functional teams, delivering faster, smarter operations while controlling spend and ensuring compliance in multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

7+ years in legal operations at a high-growth tech company or financial institution.
AI-native, first-principles approach to building tools and systems.
Strong data and analytics skills to build leadership dashboards.
Hands-on experience with CLM systems, knowledge management and outside counsel management.

Responsibilities

Build the Legal Operating Model and target operating model with urgency.
Own Legal Technology, AI workflows, dashboards, playbooks, and redlining tools.
Manage contract lifecycle, intake, templates, repository, and reporting.
Oversee outside counsel operations, budgeting, and spend reporting.
