Job summary

VOD Visual Inc. is seeking a Lead LED Technician for our Fort Worth, TX, factory. This on-site role covers both pre-sales technical support and after-sales service, including overseeing LED installation, testing, and issue resolution.

You will design proposals, create CAD drawings, and lead on-site teams to ensure timely project completion. The ideal candidate has strong LED display expertise, ProAV experience, and excellent client communication.

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in LED display systems: installation, calibration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with ProAV environments and signal distribution (HDMI, SDI, DisplayPort).
• Knowledge of electrical safety and low-voltage wiring for LED displays.
• Proven ability to lead on-site teams and manage project timelines.
• Excellent client-facing communication; ability to explain technical concepts.
• Comfort with heights and safe installation tasks.
• Experience in commercial display, events, or ProAV integration preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer sites.
• CTS or related technical diploma/certification preferred.
• Commitment to quality and health & safety regulations.

Role Description:

The Lead LED Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in the Fort Worth, TX factory.

This role is responsible for:

Pre-sales tech support:

designs technical proposals, creates CAD drawings, and delivers product demos.

After-sales service:

supervising order fulfillment, managing LED installation, testing systems, resolving technical issues, and maintaining the installed LED walls.

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in LED display systems, including installation, configuration, calibration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with ProAV environments, signal distribution (HDMI, SDI, DisplayPort), control systems, and related hardware.
• Knowledge of electrical safety, low-voltage wiring, and basic electronics relevant to LED display integration.
• Proven ability to lead on-site teams, coordinate tasks, and manage project timelines and priorities.
• Effective communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Comfort working at heights, using ladders or lifts, and handling physical installation tasks safely.
• Experience in commercial display, production staging, events, or ProAV integration is highly beneficial.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer sites.
• Relevant technical diploma or certification (e.g., CTS) in electronics, audiovisual technology, or a related field preferred.
