Job summary

RadNet, Inc. is seeking a laboratory leader to oversee the Chemistry department workflow, ensuring safety and quality assurance procedures are followed.

You will guide LC/MS-MS assay development and validation, supervise instrument training, and manage training documentation. The role requires ensuring regulatory compliance, overseeing quality management programs, and maintaining calibration and QC processes across the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science.
• Master’s Degree.
• ASCP certification by ASCP or MT preferred.
• Maintains appropriate continuing education to increase basic competency.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific oversight of timely selection, development and validation of LC/MS-MS assays.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory regulatory requirements.
• Support Quality Management, including developing procedures and trending/reporting data.
• Implement and maintain Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement programs.
• Organize QC lot changes, expirations and CAP shipment processes.
• Review reports from laboratory equipment to ensure efficient operation.
• Maintain calibration programs for testing equipment.
• Ensure continuity between department procedures, validations and inspection readiness.
• Assist in establishing department long- and short-term plans.
• Write SOPs and train Medical Technologists on instrumentation/workflow.
• Review LCMS consumables and inventory.
