Job summary

Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort & Villas in San Antonio, TX, seeks an experienced Landscaping Manager to preserve and enhance outdoor grounds. You will oversee irrigation systems, lead a team, manage contractors, and ensure alignment with Hyatt standards of excellence while coordinating across departments.

The ideal candidate has strong irrigation expertise, vendor management skills, and a track record of proactive maintenance in large properties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of landscaping/grounds maintenance experience.
• Experience managing commercial irrigation systems and preventive maintenance.
• Experience supervising landscape contractors and vendors.
• Strong knowledge of irrigation components, controllers, valves, pumps, and drainage.

Responsibilities

• Manage all landscape maintenance operations to keep grounds safe, healthy, and visually appealing.
• Oversee irrigation system troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance plans for irrigation and landscape infrastructure.
• Lead hands-on landscape and irrigation work as needed.
• Serve as primary contact for landscape contractors and ensure service standards are met.
• Review vendor scopes, invoices, and contract performance for quality and value.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Coordinate landscape projects across departments and contractors.
