Job summary

Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa in Texas is hiring a Grounds Attendant to maintain our resort grounds, including weeding, planting, watering, and general landscaping to keep the property lush and welcoming.

You will operate small and heavy machinery, lift up to 50 pounds, work outdoors in all weather, and collaborate with a team or work independently to deliver safe, high-quality outdoor spaces for guests and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Able to withstand working outdoors in all weather conditions, especially in hot and humid.
• Must have clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Must have open availability including on weekends & holidays.
• Two years’ prior experience in landscaping preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Maintain resort grounds by weeding, watering, raking, planting, and performing other landscaping tasks
• Operate small and heavy machinery to assist with grounds maintenance
• Lift moderate to heavy loads as needed for landscaping projects
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions, embracing the elements to keep our resort looking its best
• Collaborate with a team while also being able to work independently
• Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff
