Job summary

DTK Landscaping, based in Houston, is seeking a Landscape Crew Leader to supervise and work with the crew on commercial landscaping tasks. You will train and support crew members while ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to company standards.

Collaboration with the Account Manager helps meet customer expectations. Qualified candidates bring 2+ years in landscaping, 1+ year leading a crew, and bilingual English/Spanish when possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of commercial or residential landscaping experience.
• At least 1 year of experience leading a landscaping crew.
• English/Spanish bilingual strongly preferred.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Reliable and shows up to work on time.
• Follow health and safety guidelines.
• Good communication skills and willing to learn new skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and jobs efficiently.
• Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to learn new landscaping techniques and safety practices.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Confident leader who motivates and guides the team.
• Basic knowledge of Outlook email system.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Lead by example in using landscaping equipment safely and correctly
• Operate and maintain zero-turn mowers and other landscaping tools
• Perform and oversee mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, and weeding
• Maintain clean and organized flower beds and job sites
• Install plants, mulch, flowers, and hardscape materials
• Inspect and report equipment issues promptly
• Pick up and deliver landscaping materials as needed
• Ensure the crew clocks in and out at each job site correctly
• Communicate clearly with the Account Manager about project updates or issues
• Provide suggestions to improve landscaping tasks and crew efficiency
• Help plan and schedule property visits with the Account Manager
• Attend required safety and training meetings
• Support and guide the crew to deliver high-quality service
