Job summary

You will oversee planting, pruning, pest control, snow and ice removal, and heavy machinery operation, while enforcing OSHA, DOT, and NFPA standards and managing budgets and equipment.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in the landscaping/gardening industry.
• Proven leadership experience supervising and developing associates in a facility services environment.
• Strong knowledge of landscape management, horticulture methods, and exterior maintenance practices.
• Ability to operate, inspect, and maintain heavy machinery and powered equipment safely and efficiently.
• Expertise in OSHA, NFPA, DOT, and other regulatory compliance.
• Skills in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service.
• Experience managing budgets, sourcing materials, and coordinating equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise associates by assigning duties, monitoring performance, and providing feedback.
• Train and support associates on company policies, procedures, OSHA, DOT, and other regulations.
• Manage landscape maintenance, including planting, pruning, pest control, snow removal, and ice removal.
• Operate and maintain heavy machinery and vehicles.
• Complete safety checks and maintain proper documentation.
• Coordinate equipment purchases, budget preparation, and maintenance.
• Lead teams by communicating goals, supporting change, and fostering collaboration.
• Support continuous improvement, facility sustainability, and operational efficiency.
• Manage vehicle maintenance and enforce regulatory compliance.
