Job summary

Talent Edge Recruiting presents an opportunity with an established landscaping and outdoor construction company seeking a hands-on Land Foreman to lead crews and oversee residential and commercial landscape projects.

You will coordinate schedules, labor, materials, and equipment, ensure safety and quality, and manage multiple projects from planning to completion, typically ranging from $300k to $600k in value.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in hardscape or landscape construction.
• At least 2 years as a foreman, crew leader, or supervisor leading crews.
• Experience with landscape installation and outdoor construction, not just maintenance.
• Ability to operate equipment such as skid steers and mini excavators.
• Knowledge of patios, pavers, walkways, retaining walls, and outdoor living features.
• Strong scheduling, coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proactive, dependable work style with urgency and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise crews of approximately three employees.
• Oversee daily jobsite operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality.
• Coordinate schedules, labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and client communication.
• Monitor project progress and respond to weather, challenges, and requests.
• Operate equipment as needed (skid steers, mini excavators).
• Manage one project at a time, with occasional multiple projects.
• Oversee projects ranging from $300,000 to $600,000 with 2–6 month durations.
• Maintain clear communication with management, team, subcontractors, and clients.
• Keep crews productive, organized, and deadline-focused.
