Qualifications

• 2+ years of landscaping or grounds maintenance experience, preferably in parks and rec.
• Stable year round employment.
• Previous management or leadership experience.
• Valid Driver's license and clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily crew operations for landscape maintenance and facility upkeep across multiple park locations.
• Oversee athletic field preparation, mowing, edging, weed control, and debris removal.
• Schedule daily tasks and ensure efficient completion of work orders according to the municipal contract.
• Maintain accountability for crew safety, ensuring proper PPE use and safe operation of equipment.
• Inspect completed work to maintain high aesthetic standards for public spaces.
• Serve as primary field contact with city representatives and park patrons.
• Manage and maintain company vehicles and equipment.
• Train and develop crew members to promote consistency and excellence.
