Job summary

Boise State University is seeking a Foreman to plan, supervise, and perform landscaping and grounds maintenance across campus. The role requires ensuring safety practices and coordinating daily operations of crews to meet schedule goals.

You will oversee budget data and inventory, hire staff when needed, and design maintenance activities to keep University grounds attractive and safe. A current driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Considerable knowledge of landscaping and grounds maintenance and related safety practices.
• Good knowledge of plant and soil types; horticulture and professional landscaping practices.
• Experience operating and maintaining equipment and hand and power tools; mixing and using landscape chemicals; OR any equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and perform landscaping and grounds maintenance activities.
• Supervise daily operations of crews including interviewing and hiring staff and evaluating performance.
• Oversee landscaping and grounds maintenance per assigned area of campus.
• Requisition and inventory tools, supplies, and equipment; organize budget data.
