Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on landscaping experience.
• At least 2 years in a leadership, foreman, or crew lead role.
• Experience operating equipment such as bobcats, sod cutters, or similar machinery.
• Experience with hardscapes and water features.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily landscape installations including planting, grading, hardscapes, and specialty features.
• Interpret landscape designs and communicate details clearly to crew members.
• Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for homeowners, representing Sunnyside Gardens with professionalism and care.
• Train and mentor Landscape Crew Members on proper installation techniques, efficiency, and safety.
• Set the tone through dependability, strong work ethic, and calm leadership—even on demanding days.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance, inventory tracking, and tool care.
• Troubleshoot challenges in the field and adapt plans as needed to keep projects moving.
