You will monitor plant health, address pest issues, and work across weather conditions while maintaining professional interactions with clients and staff.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with landscaping design.
• Extensive knowledge of regional plant life.
• Knowledge of local pests and how to eliminate them.
• Knowledge of synthetic and natural fertilizers.
• Knowledge of state health and safety regulations for landscaping.
• A high school degree or GED.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Bilingual.
• Proficient equipment operating skills including but not limited to lawn mowers, string trimmers, stick edges, and pruners.
• Knowledge of perennials and shrubs.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain seasonal plants.
• Mow, trim and fertilize green spaces.
• Mulch, edge and weed gardens.
• Prune and trim trees and bushes.
• Maintain gardening equipment and machinery (mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers).
• Monitor health of plants and deal with pests.
