Job summary

TriPax Resources in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking an experienced construction estimator who will own the estimating process for landscape design-build projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors. You will develop clear scopes of work and client-ready LMN-based proposals, catch missing information, and provide production-ready handoffs to the field.

Working closely with Sales, Design, and Production, you’ll help build stronger systems as the company grows, with a focus on

Qualifications

Experience building complete estimates from plans and quantity takeoffs
Strong grasp of labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing
Experience with assemblies, templates, and production rates
Landscape design-build or construction estimating experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Independent quantity takeoffs from plans and specs
Estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors across landscape, hardscape, irrigation, and lighting
Clear, detailed scopes of work and client-ready proposals built in LMN
Catching missing scope, unclear info, and project risk before work is sold
Production rate and cost-library maintenance
Change orders and estimate revisions
Complete, production-ready job packets and a clean sales-to-production handoff
