Job summary

Clippers Landscaping is seeking a Crew Leader to supervise a field crew, train team members, and ensure timely, high-quality landscape projects while upholding safety standards. You will plan work, manage materials, and coordinate with clients on-site under the Operations Manager.

A minimum of two years in landscape maintenance is expected and a valid driver's license is required. English communication is essential, with Spanish language skills considered a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must communicate effectively in English; bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Ability to train others and exercise leadership.
• Dependability: consistently at work and on time; flexible hours by season.
• Strong interpersonal skills; resolve conflicts calmly.
• Plan, organize and direct a team efficiently.
• Identify opportunities to support team efforts and improve work.
• Safely operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment.
• Two years minimum landscape maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; licenses preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Create schedules with management and follow job specs including materials and timelines.
• Organize, supervise, lead and train employees to complete projects on time.
• Ensure contractual obligations meet horticultural best practices.
• Follow preventive maintenance for equipment.
• Inspect sites weekly and manage punch lists.
• Identify ways to improve processes, efficiency and quality.
• Communicate with onsite clients per communication plan.
• Respond to client requests and confirm needs are met.
• Keep manager informed of client concerns and site communications.
• Maintain safe working conditions at all times per company guidelines.
