Job summary

Lakeland Landscaping is seeking a Landscape Construction Foreman to lead field crews on high-end residential landscape and hardscape projects in Morris County. This hands-on leadership role requires craftsmanship, efficiency, and the ability to manage timelines while operating equipment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in landscape construction, can supervise crews, and is comfortable using equipment such as skid steers and mini excavators.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in landscape construction or equivalent fieldwork.
• Proven experience leading or assisting with crew supervision on job sites.
• Ability to operate small construction equipment is required.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and actively participate in landscape construction projects (patios, walkways, retaining walls, outdoor living features).
• Supervise and coordinate crew members on site to ensure quality and timelines.
• Operate equipment such as skid steers and mini excavators.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule and to company standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site; communicate with management and team.
• Assist with material planning, site layout, and daily execution.
