Job summary

Down to Earth is seeking a Landscape Foreman to lead a field crew on landscape installation projects. You will supervise daily activities, coordinate labor and materials, and ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards.

The role requires 5+ years in landscape construction, supervisory experience, and the ability to read construction drawings. Florida driver’s license and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of landscape construction or related outdoor work.
• Prior supervisory or foreman experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Valid Florida driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Commitment to jobsite safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise landscape installation crews on projects.
• Plan daily work activities and assign tasks for productivity and quality.
• Perform hands-on construction work including grading, planting, sod installation, mulching, hardscape installation, and site prep.
• Read and interpret construction plans and work orders.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractors to meet timelines.
• Monitor jobsite progress and address quality, safety, or scheduling issues.
• Enforce safety policies and conduct daily safety briefings.
• Maintain timekeeping, job reports, and documentation.
• Communicate progress with project managers and operations leadership.
