Outdoor Environments Group is seeking a Principal Landscape Architect to join our boutique design studio in Indianapolis. You will lead design teams, guide projects from concept to construction, maintain design integrity, and ensure solutions meet budget and sustainability goals.

You will mentor staff, manage client relationships, collaborate with architects and engineers, and present at reviews. A licensed LA with 8–12+ years of experience and strong leadership and communication skills is

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture.
• Licensed Landscape Architect with 8–12+ years of experience.
• Proven track record leading complex, high-profile projects from design to construction.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee multiple projects from concept through construction.
• Establish design vision, maintain quality control, and uphold innovation.
• Mentor and support project teams with guidance and development.
• Direct client engagement, including presentations and reviews.
• Oversee resource allocation and workload distribution.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate landscape design.
• Review design documents and ensure compliance with codes and permits.
• Provide oversight on construction administration, materials, and specifications.
