Job summary

DAS Aviation in Grand Junction, CO is seeking a Crew Lead to guide a team of technicians in landing gear maintenance, ensuring safety, quality, and FAA compliance across all tasks. You will coordinate daily workflow, assign priorities, supervise technicians, and mentor staff while ensuring accurate FAA paperwork, SRMs, CMMs and blueprints are followed.

Communicate project status with the Team Lead and other departments; expect overtime and weekend work when required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years prior experience in landing gear maintenance.
• Advanced knowledge of FAA paperwork, work orders and Corridor systems.
• Strong ability to read and interpret SRMs, CMMs, and engineering blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily technician activities to ensure safe, efficient work.
• Prioritize workload to meet production goals and customer commitments.
• Supervise technicians and provide technical guidance and support.
• Conduct in-process inspections and review work for quality and compliance.
• Prepare work and documentation for final inspection and RTS authorization.
• Oversee work order flow to ensure timely completion.
• Train and mentor technicians to grow their skills.
• Communicate project status and shifts with Team Lead and other departments.
• Ensure clear communication in English.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
