Job summary

Hicks & Mann, Inc. in Grant County, Kentucky is seeking a licensed land surveyor to lead field teams and seal plats and surveys. You will plan the day, run field work, and coordinate with the engineering side on joint projects.

Responsibilities include boundary retracement, subdivision platting, ALTA surveys, and construction staking, with year-round field work and outdoor duties; a valid driver’s license is required, and W-2 employment with paid time off is provided.

Qualifications

License required: Kentucky PLS or licensure in another state with comity.
Working knowledge of Kentucky boundary law and 201 KAR 18:150.
Field work year-round; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Boundary retracement and record research at Grant County courthouses and nearby counties.
Subdivision platting, minor plats, and lot splits for county/city reviews.
Topographic and route surveys for site and roadway design.
ALTA/NSPS land title surveys for commercial transactions.
Construction staking for streets, utilities, and building pads.
Easement descriptions, legal descriptions, and exhibits.
Lead the crew, plan the day, and supervise work under your seal.
