Job summary

OWN, Inc. is seeking a Team Leader to guide land development projects from concept through construction in the Kansas City area. You will mentor engineers, nurture client relationships, and influence how the team delivers work while helping expand the company's presence in the market.

You will manage scope, schedule, and budget with a hands-on leadership style, shaping processes and ownership across the team to drive successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of land development experience.
• PE license preferred.
• Strong project and client management experience.
• Experience leading teams or readiness to step into that role.
• A sense of ownership: you care about the work, your team, and your clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead land development projects from concept through construction, coordinating with clients and internal teams to keep things moving - technically, financially, and relationally.
• Mentor and support a team of engineers.
• Build and strengthen client relationships (and help bring new ones in!).
• Stay close to project performance (scope, schedule, and budget).
• Play a role in expanding our presence in the Kansas City market.
• Help shape how the team operates and delivers work.
